Refunds & Cancellations

  • Cancellations Within 72 Hours of Appointment:
    Refunds are not available for client-initiated cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled appointment. This includes cancellations due to last minute change of mind, agreed upon final customization choices, uncommunicated location availability, unrealistic expectation or any invalid reasons.

  • Cancellations Over 72 Hours Before Appointment:
    Cancellations requested more than 72 hours before the appointment are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. The refund amount will equal the amount paid minus $100.

  • Completed Appointments:
    Refunds will not be issued for completed services. If you have concerns or are dissatisfied with the setup, please contact us immediately, and we will work to address your concerns.

Timeliness & Rescheduling

  • We highly recommend booking our services at least two weeks in advance of your desired date. Scheduling early provides ample time for detailed arrangements and ensures the best possible experience. If a shorter timeline is necessary, we kindly request that bookings be made no less than 72 hours before the requested service date.

  • If the location (hotel, Airbnb, private home, etc.) is not accessible to the decorator within 2 Hours of the scheduled time, Reverie Event Co. reserves the right to treat it as a client-initiated cancellation.

    Example: If your appointment is scheduled for 6 PM and access to the location is not provided by 4:00 PM, the decorator may cancel the appointment, and no refund will be issued.

  • Rescheduling:
    If you need to reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. While we will do our best to accommodate your needs, same-day rescheduling requests may not be possible.

Results May Vary

  • Each setup is unique and customized to the space provided. Reverie Event Co. cannot guarantee an exact match to inspiration photos or previous setups shared on our website or social media.

  • Color shades may vary slightly in person due to lighting, material availability, or room decor.

  • Factors such as room layout, size, and wall paint or wallpaper will influence the final appearance of the setup.

Longevity of Decor

  • Helium Balloons:
    Helium-filled balloons typically float for approximately 5 hours. However, factors such as air density, temperature, and sunlight can affect their longevity.

  • Oxidation & Discoloration:
    Exposure to sunlight or heat may cause discoloration or "oxidation" of the decor. Reverie Event Co. is not responsible for these natural occurrences after the decorator leaves.

  • Placement Maintenance:
    While all banners and balloons are securely placed during the setup, we cannot guarantee they will remain in position indefinitely.

Liability & Cleanup

  • Hotel or Venue Fees:
    Reverie Event Co. is not liable for any fees imposed by hotels, Airbnb owners, or venues due to decor.

  • Cleanup Responsibility:
    Reverie Event Co. will retrieve all rental items, including but not limited to arches, floral arrangements, candles, aisle runners, and similar decor. We kindly recommend that clients remove or repurpose all balloons, petals, and other custom decorations before checkout to help avoid any additional cleaning fees that may be charged by the hotel or Airbnb.

  • Damage Responsibility:
    Reverie Event Co. is not responsible for any damage caused by tape, glue dots, or other tools used during the setup process.

  • Safety Notice:
    Clients are responsible for avoiding injuries related to decor, such as tripping on balloons or inhaling helium. Please exercise caution around our setup, especially with candles and fragile items.

Access & Timing

  • You are responsible for providing accurate information about preferences, appropriate proposal site address and any other relevant details.

  • Room Access:
    For setups requiring entry into your hotel or private space:

    • If you are not present, a key should be left at the front desk or arrangements made with hotel staff for our decorator's access.

    • Do not leave keys in unsecured locations such as under doors or on the floor.

  • Valuables:
    We recommend securing valuable items in a safe before our arrival. Reverie Event Co. is not liable for lost or misplaced items.

  • Setup Window:
    Decorators require a two-hour window to complete the setup. Clients must allow uninterrupted access during this period. If the setup cannot be completed due to interruptions or limited access, no refunds will be issued.

Booking Policy Reverie Event Co.

Advance Booking Requirements

  • We recommend scheduling your event at least two weeks in advance of your desired date to ensure ample time for planning and arrangements.

  • For bookings within two weeks of your event date, please contact us directly to confirm availability.

  • Last-Minute Bookings: Requests made within 72 hours of the desired event date are subject to availability and may incur an expedited service fee.

Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the event date.

  • For bookings made within 7 days of the event, the full payment is required upfront.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations Within 72 Hours: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of the event.

  • Cancellations Over 72 Hours Before the Event: Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the event are eligible for a refund, minus a $100 cancellation fee.

  • Refunds are not available for completed setups or services.

Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred date and time.

  • Same-Day Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule on the same day as your appointment may not be accommodated due to scheduling constraints.

Event Location Access

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure access to the event location at the scheduled time.

  • If the decorator cannot access the location within 2 Hours of the scheduled start time, the appointment will be considered canceled by the client, and no refund will be issued.

  • For hotel setups, please arrange for a key to be left at the front desk or meet the decorator in the lobby to provide access.

Customizations & Setup

  • All customizations must be finalized no later than 7 days prior to the event. Changes requested after this period may not be accommodated.

  • Each setup is tailored to the event space, and while we aim to match inspiration photos, variations may occur due to room size, layout, and decor availability.

Communication

  • You will receive a confirmation email upon booking, as well as reminders closer to your event date.

  • A follow-up email will include final details, customization confirmations, and contact information for your decorator.

  • If the decor is intended as a surprise, ensure the recipient does not have access to the email account provided during booking. Reverie Event Co. is not responsible for spoiled surprises.
